Hahahaha.
Nasim Pedrad goes to a special place after Helen Mirren allows her to touch her breasts.
Film - SNL Digital Short: Helen Mirren's Magical Bosom
Helen Mirren
Dave Grohl
Bobby Moynihan ... dancing bee
Nasim Pedrad
Andy Samberg ... saint
Kristen Wiig
Wow. I think my favorite part of this was actually Bobby Moynihan who just brought the bee costume back! SNL did the bees their first season in 75, but it was John Belushi who really pushed and owned the bee movement.
I hope we get another music video from the new TLI CD sometime soon.
Enjoy!

Laser Cats the Musical (#6) with Andy Samberg, Tom Hanks, and Elton John
Droz is performing music that's killing people and it's up to Nitro and Admiral Spaceship to save the day.
This is not Tom Hank's first digital short. He appeared in "My Testicles" during the dudes' first season. I love the Spider-man bits in the background, which make fun of the Spider-man musical.
I think they could have done more with the "musical" aspect, but fitting in Elton John was great! This is their sixth Laser Cats; they do one a year.
Call out to Victoria for guessing this was going to be an epiode of Laser Cats!
And call out to Anony for noticing that Andy's wearing the same clothes in some shots as he did on Jimmy Fallon's show earlier the previous Friday night. So Andy probably shot the Lorne office bits on Friday, before his Jimmy Fallon interview.
What's your favorite part?
Enjoy!

Andy Samberg with Justin Bieber in The Roommate (SNL Commercial)
Commercial - The Roommate
Justin Bieber
Michael Patrick O'Brien ... advisor
Andy Samberg ... Ben Kingsley, Declan
Justin Bieber moves into his college dorm with a creepy guy in the new film 'The Roommate.'
Hahahaha. So this is a commercial, but really this is the digital short this week. The audience loved it, and it's great to see Justin Bieber do something silly like this. Andy is hilarious!

Andy Samberg - The Creep (SNL Digital Short)
There's a new dance going around that's sure to catch on in the club: The Creep.
This time Andy, Jorma, and Akiva are all featured together (first time). This is, of course, the second single from their new album.
Creepy and funny. Do you like it?
Enjoy!

Andy Samberg Does Shots with Pee-Wee Herman (SNL Digital Short)
An innocent shot kicks off a wild night for Andy and his friend, Pee-Wee Herman.
Featuring Andy Samberg, Pee Wee Herman, Anderson Cooper, Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, and Kenan Thompson.
Poor kids hearing Pee-Wee and his chair curse like that. =^)
Well, I laughed out loud at least once, and I'm a huge Pee-Wee fan. Pretty good for a non-musical digital short.
Little known fact... Pee-Wee started out at the Groundlings, in the same class as Phil Hartman and others in the mid 80s. In fact, Phil helped Andy get his show going and starred on Pee-Wee's Playhouse as the Fisherman friend. Plus Pee-Wee hosted SNL on 11.23.1985 (and Phil Hartman appeared in that episode, a year before he joined the cast). So that's Paul Reuben's connections to SNL (thanks to Anony for reminding us that Pee-Wee hosted).

Andy Samberg - Stumblin' (SNL Digital Short)
Film - SNL Digital Short: Stumblin'
Paul Rudd ... Stumbler - friend
Paul McCartney
Mario Batali
Fred Armisen ... guy
Vanessa Bayer ... girl
Michael Patrick O'Brien ... guy
Andy Samberg ... Stumbler - guy

Unfortunately, the video hasn't been uploaded yet, so you need to skip ahead to 18:28 in this Hulu video:
Or this link will skip to the right spot in the NBC video (after a minute of ads):
http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/dec-11-paul-rudd/1264579/?tin=1107
My guess is that they'll have the video up by itself soon.
So, this was Andy's only "skit" this week, and it was filmed! So Andy pretty much took the week off after dominating last week. Kind of makes sense because they do that (the dominant player takes the next week off to let other players do their thing, especially when the cast is large like this). However, it doesn't look like anything good came from the Andyless week. Mostly just a Paul McCartney concert. And somebody has to tell Fred to stop doing his Roger Brush character.
So what did you think of Stumblin? I thought it was funny at first, but it didn't seem to go anywhere, other than the break for Paul McCartney randomness.
Who was that singing (other than Paul)? A female country singer? Voice sounds very familiar.
Enjoy!

Andy Samberg in the SNL Digital Short - What Was that?
The winners of a Model UN competition address the General Assembly with Arcade Fire.
Hmmm. This is an interesting short here with Arcade Fire. Not all that funny. My guess is that it got cut after Dress Rehearsal, and so they immediately put it on the net. One way to find out if it makes the show tonight.

Andy Samberg & Rihanna in Shy Ronnie 2 (SNL Digital Short)
So of course we called the obvious... with Shy Ronnie getting an Emmy nom-nom last year, Andy needed to do another music video with Rihanna. I was kind of hoping it was something other than Shy Ronnie, but it's still good and now it's a recurring Andy character. Yay!
Shy Ronnie and Rihanna team up again, and this time they're getting gangster. Literally.
SNL Digital Short - Ronnie and Clyde
Jon Hamm ... customer
Rihanna
Vanessa Bayer ... customer
Paul Brittain ... teller
Bill Hader ... police officer (voice)
Taran Killam ... teller
Bobby Moynihan ... police officer
Nasim Pedrad ... teller

Film - SNL Digital Short
Emma Stone ... student
Vanessa Bayer ... student
Paul Brittain ... student
Abby Elliott ... student
Taran Killam ... student
Bobby Moynihan ... student
Jay Pharoah ... student
Andy Samberg ... jelly
The cool girl in school is having a run of bad luck in the cafeteria.
It's also Andy's voice singing the chorus before he comes on as Jelly! I loved it!

Andy Samberg in Relaxation Therapy with Jane Lynch - SNL Digital Short
Andy undergoes therapy with questionable techniques.
So far, I think it's my #2 favorite digital short of the season, second behind last week's Rescue Dogs awesomeness.

Andy Samberg in Rescue Dogs - SNL Digital Short
Film SNL Digital Short - Rescue Dogs 911 App
Helen Mirren
Fred Armisen ... robber
Bill Hader ... movie announcer (voice)
Bobby Moynihan ... delivery man
Nasim Pedrad ... Pizza Hub announcer (voice)
Andy Samberg ... Dave
Kenan Thompson ... robber
Kristen Wiig ... operator (voice)
This new phone app has few kinks, but it's still useful.
Wow. Helen's on a video in it and is on and off so quickly that you barely notice her cameo.
Oh, my gosh! I was a LITTLE surprised by this. I thought it was going to be lame. But it looks like they might have spent a little time on it because Bryan Cranston isn't even in it, so they probably didn't just thrown it together; and THAT's why it's so well written and AWESOME!
This was like a blast back to the older TLI shorts on SNL (Dear Sister comes to mind, even though this is obviously different).
So funny! Did you love it?
Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Boogerman (SNL Digital Short)
Originally posted 9/26/10.
Update: Rai made a good point in the comments that this was a personal joke.
Here's Rai's take on it:
That's not bad, but I think you might have that wrong a little. I don't think Bill called it dog feces because the Emmy voters assumed it was dog feces when it was truly amazing. I think Andy and the dudes were calling it bad because they have no idea how it got nominated for an Emmy in the first place. So I think this was more their way of laughing at themselves than complaining against the Emmy voters.
What do you think? Was this an inside joke or was it a whiny way to complain?
=========================================
A musical tribute to one of the year's most talked about films.
SNL Digital Short: Boogerman
Katy Perry
Fred Armisen ... villain
Paul Brittain ... guy
Bill Hader ... presenter
Taran Killam ... guy
Bobby Moynihan ... scientist
Jay Pharoah ... Jamaican
Amy Poehler ... girlfriend
Andy Samberg ... dancer
Jason Sudeikis ... general
Kenan Thompson ... guy
Kristen Wiig ... girl
Booo! What a waste of Katy Perry and Amy Poehler! This is the kind of idea that sounds amusing until you do it. =^)
Andy's promos were funnier than this. Just this title alone could have inspired a funnier skit.

Update: Rai made a good point in the comments that this was a personal joke.
Here's Rai's take on it:
The theme from "Boogerman" is performed at the Emmys. Shy Ronnie was nominated for an Emmy. The theme from "Boogerman" is outlandish, and Bill Hader assumes that it's a pile of dog [doodoo]. Many Emmy voters probably made similar assumptions about Shy Ronnie. Randy Newman beats the theme from "Boogerman." Randy Newman beat the Lonely Island at the Emmys.
I don't think the Digital Short was supposed to be laugh out loud funny. I think it was supposed to be a critique of Emmy voters who voted for a "safe" and "typical" Randy Newman song, while ignoring Shy Ronnie because it looked stupid.
