2SSFA - 'Maybe She Loves Everyone' by Wesley Leon Aroozoo

There is something for French zealots in Maybe She Loves Everyone by Wesley Leon Aroozoo. Yes, even the title is trés romantique. This meta-romance expressionism-noir piece is confuddling, to say the least. The French 101 CD manages to intone translations of lines like “Maybe you’re not who I think you are”, “I would not have done the same to you”, “But you should feel sad because a smile is all I have left for you” throughout the show. They act as voiceovers for the protagonists, who have to go through weird scenes that the audience is to make head and toes of. Then there’s the sudden fireman suit, the lawn-mower, the abduction. Fans of Wesley's shorts will not be alarmed.
