shoot 'em geeks

One Tv show that normally gives my remote control a rest is BBC’s Click. It’s one informative program where techies and geeks like us would find the latest news on computers, the web, mobile phones and almost anything about gadgets, media and technology of the 21st century.

One segment is called Webscape and it gives out tips on cool sites that you probably wouldn’t stumble upon just surfing the web by yourself. This week, they featured two sites that I think you would enjoy so let me share them with you.

I hope Raoul and Matt would thank me for this - http://www.photonhead.com/ is one cool site if you’re into photography. Whether you’re a beginner or already a pro, I’m sure this site can help you with something. Or so many things you’d probably thank the author for coming up with this site. It’s a straightforward and navigation-friendly site that features guides and helps in the simplest, no-fuss fashion. I had a quick browse and based on what I see, you’d probably need no classroom training to start shooting away with your digital cam.

The second site that caught my fancy is http://www.geekologie.com/ . Oh yeah, it’s a geeky site alright. But I’m sure you’d love it like I did. It features so many geeky things invented by the geekiest minds around. Find the funky shoes with headlights, the scary robot lady, the sexy pole dancer alarm clock, the freaky bigdog robot, the funny walking bike and many other things cool, ridiculous, funny, impressive or just downright stupid. A cigarette packet cellphone? Hmmm… don’t think so!

Let me know what you think of these sites guys.
