I came across watching the entire Manga episodes of Samurai Champloo lately and was totally inspired! It's so freaking awesome! Loved the characters, Jin and Mugen. In fact, every character in the series have totally distinct and deep characteristics. So I have been thinking of designing a character with a samurai as the theme and I ended up doing three instead!!! Wanted to link them together and was telling myself the story as this illustration developed. So here's the little cute girl named Chika (in Japanese, it means near and dear) and her three insanely awesome samurai bros, who are her caretakers and protectors for life.
